6th Grade Pre-Algebra Class description:
Improve and learn new skills in the areas of Ratios and Proportional Relationships, Number Systems, Expressions and Equations, Geometry, Stats and Probability.
Pre Requirements:
Addition/Subtraction Facts
Multiplication/Division Facts
Basic Fundamentals
Grade:
You will be graded on participation, daily class work, concept checks, outcome assessments and other projects.
25% Concept Applications:
Combination of home-study, bell work, vocabulary, in class activities, and labs. Students have the option to improve concept applications.
35% Concept Checks (Quiz):
Consists of several problems covering material from recent instruction. Students have the option to improve concept checks.
40% Cumulative Outcome Assessment (Test):
Will be administered at the end of concept units. These tests must be passed with a 60%. Students must make corrections on Outcome Assessments. Relearning opportunities will be made available.

Expectations:
Have all supplies with you: Chromebook, Library book, binder, pencil, and paper.
Once you come into the room, you MUST STAY. Be sure to get everything out of your locker you need, get a drink, or use the restroom before you come into the classroom.
Be in your seat and ready to begin when the bell rings. You should open Google Classroom to see what we are completing today.
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check the assignment board, absent crate, or with the teacher to find out what assignments were missed.
Supplies needed:
Spiral notebook, pencil, grading pen, highlighter, and notebook paper.
